1978-1983

Mike always knew he wanted to be a plumber. He participated in a co-op program at Hershey High School. He went to school half of the day and worked as a plumbing apprentice the other half of the day.

He attended Williamsport Area Community College for plumbing and heating.

1983-1992

HB McClure served as the location of Mike’s college apprenticeship program. Upon graduation, he worked there as a field tech and was promoted to commercial estimator.

In 1992, Mike bought a van for $900 at a local auction. That’s when his business was born.

1992-1997

The business became a division of a larger company when the one-man shop became too much for Mike to manage due to his growing family.

1998

Mike missed having his own business and went out on his own again. Knowing he’d need more help, he hired another plumber, Joe Rothermel. Joe is still with us. Mike also hired a full-time office manager. Today, we maintain five fully stocked trucks and a staffed office.
